martin luther king, Jr.
Martin Luther King was born on January 15th 1929 and died on April 4th 1968. He was an American civil rights leader and fought for the African-Americans, as well as being an American activist and a humanitarian. he had acquired more progress towards racial equality in America then produced in the previous 350 years. He is renowned for his "I have a Dream" speech and his accomplishments and his power to fight is known all around the world and told to many students worldwide. Martin fought for the equality of the many African-American and fought for Rosa Parks who was arrested. In doing so, his house was bombed and King was arrested. this transformed Martin into the man he is today. unfortunately, he was assassinated on March 29th 1968 on his trip to Tennessee to support the black sanitary public works employees. he was on the balcony of his hotel at 6:01p.m when he was shot with the bullet piercing through his right cheek causing sever damage as the bullet had travelled down his spinal chord. After many chest surgeries, he was pronounced dead. This death had sparked many riots in dozens of cities. Martin's legacy lived on and is still exists until this day.
